Wait, hold up. So we are clowning people for paying people of other cultures to sing happy birthday but there are people in the US paying $50+ for celebrities to send birthday messages to people?

Breh. Stop it. :snoop:

That's not true. China has been trying to increase their cultural export for the last decade as that is where we have the big advantage over them. There will be a cap on their global influence without that soft power.

The British said the same about america in it's rise. Nothing last forever breh

They were the worlds' number one economy in the 7th century breh... Their belief was China is heaven
so why go anywhere else ?
Have you ever seen a Chinese person at an American chain grocery store?

I haven’t.

That’s what centuries of programming like this will do to you.

They aren't desperate for that or they'd invest more resources towards it. What they are desperate for is leading the world in manufacturing, green technology and quantum computing ...

They have 1.4 billion people. 20% of the worlds population. Why would they care about getting better at propaganda ? Something which they 1) suck at. 2) deem to have no use compared to tangible results.

Russia has and always will be better at propaganda

How did Russia even enter this conversation? Seems you are talking about irrelevant things

And I don’t think you actually know what you’re talking about. There are already over 500 Confucius institutes all over the world directly funded by the Chinese government. This in combination with belt and road and the digital RMB is nothing short of a Chinese attempt to dominate other countries and create a cultural and economic sphere of influence

Sounds pretty desperate to me

If you cant follow a simple comparison or study history that's' on you. It's not my fault,

Economic yes... cultural no. They are great at the former but suck at the latter. Get it ?

Nothing desperate about it ...they aren't bound by term limits or myopic voters so desperation
isn't a key factor.

So English-speaking people paying children to recite "OP is a phaggot" is what? Normal?

The "weird flex" is too many people being willing to whore themselves out for money, whatever the language.

the chinese people paying that are probably rich and could care less.....
the boom in the chinese economy in the last 20-30 years created more wealthy people than any country in the world

'Common prosperity' or crackdown? China goes after its billionaires

It’s a Pyrrhic victory. Paying people to like you or your culture is the definition of lame and not sustainable.

Who the fukk likes speaking Chinese except Chinese people? :mjlol: And a lot of them are ashamed of their culture and want to be white or black instead
