What have BM done collectively after the 1960s.. Nobody have/had a clear cut response on that
Collectively progress to the middle class, usually with little or no help, which is pretty damn impressive considering we’re facing sabotage from every direction. :heh:

I certainly was.

I had neither, but my gen x brother got married young, so my single mom musta did something right. :jbhmm:

I keep telling her to write a manual. A lot of women wanna do right, they just don't know how bc they themselves were raised poorly.

Yeah, my wife said the same thing. She already has said when our daughter is older she will tell her that there is a cost in single minded focus on career until your 30s and then trying to accelerate settling down. You need balance and the best place to find an equally yoked partner is college or grad school. My wife and I met in our mid-20s and she was serious but really frustrated at a lot of her friends that didn't wake up until it was almost too late.
the GenX got married around late 20s/30. But when it came to millennials everyone said to just focus on school and $ LOL

Yeah, a lot of factors led to that but honestly, with the new professional opportunities open to women I don't think people knew the full implications on how this would play out because educated BW in the past got married to educated BM as a matter of course. Also, I don't people were prepared for this kind of education gap below when Black folks were traditionally less than 10% college educated

She top 5 entertainment within the Black Sector, very good at arguments, roasting, witty and actually have knowledgeable viewpoints..

:francis:Thats why she's dangerous..

Wouldn't be surprised if Cyn ends up getting on a mainstream show or podcast..

That abort Black Babies shyt slowed progression but she'll eventually make it to 500k or 1M subs

Damn, if she lost a family member that’s fukked up. A lot of y’all talking shyt about her but got just as much hate in your heart as she does. Live y’all’s life’s and find happiness. Maybe she’ll learn to find happiness cause it’s obvious the woman got some problems.
People like her never learn, and that's okay. Some folks just gotta learn the hard way

But that’s the point- ultimately, y’all were raised to pursue meaningful partnerships in your youth. There are other single moms who don’t put their daughters up on game and let them make the same mistakes as them.
