In other words he is absolving women of any wrongdoing as per usual and saying men are the problematic ones
I’m not absolving women of wrongdoing. I’m just explaining that very specific point of physical appearance. Your other points are valid. I’d also add women being unrealistic in terms of how much a man makes, causing drama for attention, and posting everything on social media.

I just went to my son’s award ceremony and I noticed all of the black girls were on the A/B honor roll/Principals list, they were in specialized STEM programs, and they had a “Girls of Distinction” program. The boys got nothing, very few were in STEM or robotics like the girls and this was CLEARLY MANUFACTURED. Most of the black boys got rewards for “most improved behavior” or some bs backhanded bullshyt.

I mentioned it to the black Assistant Principal and was quickly written off, along with a white female teacher. I told them that they were only pouring into little girls and it correlated with the enrollment rates of black boys into college and other specialized programs. I’m telling y'all, black women are working with white society to shut black boys out of everything.

The white man is the devil and the black woman is his wife.

That’s not what I’m talking about. I’m talking about pure repulsion. There has to be a base level of attraction. And usually that’s not going to happen when you only date on apps. More men have better luck in person, because you look better in person, and she can catch a vibe based on something you say to her. Plenty of average men are happy in relationships. You don’t have to be Morris Chestnut to get a woman.
But that's what he was talking about in his post. He's not saying women are not giving consideration to men they aren't attracted to he was more so saying they aren't giving consideration to men with that baseline attraction that can grow over time. The checklist dating phenomenon.
In one post you say "women aren't settling for men they aren't highly attracted to" then in the next you say "women are okay with men they aren't highly attracted to as long is there is baseline" which is it? Then the switch over to talking about dating apps vs in-person out of nowhere smh

Again no one was advocating for women to be with men they aren't attracted to. The commentary was about women only giving consideration to men they are HIGHLY attracted to. Which varies from woman to woman given her tastes but still. You wrote those long ass paragraphs to basically agree with what @Ohene was saying in the first place :snoop:

Has it occurred that those particular men aren’t the ones they have baseline attraction to, or there could be something else about him she doesn’t like?

:dahell: brother we aren't 10 year olds. We've been around the block with women and have female friends and family. They absolutely will like a guy and be like "idk" because of something she doesn't like and watch them get convinced to go on a date by a family member or friend and end up married calling dude the love of their life. The point is you aren't going to like everything about who you're dating and thats ok but the mindset into delusion that there are better options out there is that is causing issues and a absolute refusal to take risks and attempt to build something with someone because we constantly measure ourselves against other people via social media.

This goes back to my original point about the fear of the mask coming off. You want them to take risks, yet still be selective, and when it doesn’t work, say they chose the wrong man.

Who cares about “who started it”

If you a man be a man

We supposed to be leaders right? What kinda sucka ass leader sit around and complain about who their supposed to be leading instead of teaching & helping them be better?

If you’re favorite coach said “b-b-but the team won’t listen to me” you would say fire that loser

Black men and black women are at odds right now on this thing we call social media and offline but in reality either men gotta step up as a group or we all die, ain’t no in between
what kind of coach/leader don't criticize?

what happens to players who don't take that criticism well?

Not really. We say they chose the wrong man when they choose deadbeats, criminals, etc.
This isn't about ignoring red flags. And yes that is the risk that comes with dating. You see the numerous amounts of women who are unhappy with the current dating environment. We created this women and men. So what would be the solution in your eyes?

They are deemed uncoachable and fail to make it to the next level as a player. The team might win games depending on how good the God given talent of the players is but when they play teams on their level they lose. Then when the coach moves on to a different team that actually listens and responds constructively towards the criticism. They get better and they start winning.

I don’t think there is one solution. I think it has to be a natural, and mutual attraction, and some people are lucky, and others aren’t. Everyone isn’t going to end up with someone.

I think it has ramped up in recent years as a backlash response to MeToo, slutwalks, ultrafeminism, onlyfans going mainstream, and the dismantling of traditional gender roles.

With the large attacks on Black women in important positions, making them the face of DEI and stripping federal jobs which employs a lot of Black women , I'm not sure this is true, at least on a macro level.
