They got a chance to watch Paul George, Kyrie Irving, and Kevin Love. It was a competitive game. You got your money's worth and the home team won.
Yeah it may have been a good game, but if your money was spent to see LeBron, hard to say you got your money's worth. I get what you're saying tho

It's very straightforward. If you wanna see Bron that bad, you should probably check the Cavs schedule as well. It's on Bron to consider every single fan that might be coming to see him but it's not on them to consider the wear and tear on his body and his goal (which is not a November game in Indy)?
This assumption that people have unlimited resources and just pick and choose when and where they can go to games is not reality for a lot of people. And they should matter.

He can sit when he wants. If you don't like it go debate First Take ratings coordinator.

Who is making such an assumption? What I said is most relevant for people with limited resources.

Protections for what? You're paying to go see the game. The game is still being played. That analogy is horrible. An NBA game is not a service, Whataburger is. There are services within the arena that coincide with the game, but the game itself is not a service to you.

I love Lebron? I'm a Warrior fan... I respect LeBron, but I don't love him. I've been to a Giants game where Barry Bonds sat out... when Deion Sanders was on the Giants for a short time, i wanted to watch him play, and he sat the day I went...You have a choice to go to the games or not, and its always going to be a risk.

Exactly. When you buy a ticket you are paying to see an athletic competition...that is all you are guaranteed. If you want to see a certain player, there is an inherent risk that they may not be out there for a variety of reasons. It's up to you to be aware of and minimize that risk if it's that important to you to see one guy.

Compare toppings on a burger to athletic performance brehs. That's actually the problem here...people viewing and treating human beings like something other than human beings.
I get this point of view, but it assumes I'm comparing the toppings on the burger to LeBron himself. That's not the comparison.

The comparison is Whataburger not giving me what I asked to the Cleveland Cavaliers not giving any indication until game day, hence the team not providing the product they promised, which is probably the driver of the price I paid for that ticket. I said a while back my only concern is that customers are made whole, if LeBron needs to rest, then he needs to rest. Like you said, he's a human being that's understandable. Just hate to see people in the situation like the one I'm describing where there's nothing they can do but eat the cost of tickets they do not want

Go on any NBA team's site and go thru ticket prices. The games against the best teams with the best players always cost more because they're more attractive tickets. People are paying LeBron ticket money for Kevin Love tickets

Lebron can do whatever he feels is best for him.

It's just odd (to me) to see a healthy player resting 10 games into the season. I'm not going togo and reference other players who didn't do this at 31 it's just strange to me. But if it helps them in june i guess its for the greater good

How is it odd to you when
  • Knowing he's played starter minutes since he was 18, so his "31" is different than a "31" who came into the league after college
  • Reading the amount of minutes played in the post right above you?
It's still "odd" to you or are you simply unwilling to think?

He's an idiot. Dude went age instead of minutes logged while neglecting that he's started since he was 18.

Dude is just dumb
You have like at least 10 years on me and have been calling me names on the internet all morning. Even if I am "dumb" or "an idiot" which is objectively false, I wouldn't trade my stupidity for your emotional maturity, ever
