I think he definitely knew before the Finals.

^^^^^^

Not a coincidence.

I actually dismissed that on some "that doesn't mean anything" type shyt at the time. :guilty:

Good reading.

Not surprised.

That's why I said, I can understand why the owner like Dan (Even, I don't like him) but he has right to be angry at LeBron for not telling him to see if he's coming back or not so they can do make their moves in free agency, trade, etc instead of he had to watch on TV "The Decision" just like us. This is the same way he did to Miami Heat so why do you think Bosh was waiting on him? why in the hell Melo was waiting on him? so we all assuming that Pat Riley was also waiting on him too.......that's being said very unprofessional on LeBron and his friends.

So it's Bron's fault that these other grown ass men were waiting on him to make their moves? :what: He wasn't stopping anybody from doing anything that they wanted to do. As far as we know he didn't lie or make any promises so what's unprofessional...being methodical and making choices on your own time without giving anyone any indication as to what you are doing until you actually do it aka sound business strategy? :pachaha:

It is comical how deeply entrenched in their feelings people get over this dude. :mjlol: Got nikkas sounding like dudes who didn't get their phone calls returned from a chick that they were sweating heavy. It's comical how you can mislead someone by being noncommittal. Bu...bu...but she said she was thinking about it :sadbron: :damn: :heh: MIA fans were :umad: over this same behavior 4 years ago and now it's so wrong. :comeon:

Of course there is PR component but I don't think anybody chooses to live/play in Cleveland over MIA, LA, PHX, HOU strictly for PR.

All I know is: Im happy that I no longer have to watch press conferences with Wade and Lebron, and D-Wade will no longer be able to hide from the tough questions about his lacklusterness. Lebron bounced because he saw a roster with lots of young talent and he knows his boy Wade is damn near finished, so why keep wasting his time in Miami.

Its obvious this was a PR move. Everything that transpired was plotted out in advance and everyone bought into it.

LeBron goes from a superteam forming villain who set the expectation of championships at not 1, not 2...etc to some sort of savior returning home where he's relieved of all that pressure because he's "not promising a championship. I know how hard that is to deliver. We’re not ready right now. No way."

:troll: was able to turn public opinion back in his favor and repair the damage he did with The Decision while at the same time lower expectations going forward. :ehh:

TYRONE GA!

THEY KNEW...
THATS WHY RILEY CAME OUT FIRING IN THAT PRESS CONFERENCE.
LE BATARD IS A HEAT SHILL...
NOT SURE WHY DUDES ALWAYS TAKING HIS WORD AS TRUTH.

BRON BEEN dikk RIDING NAPIER SINCE THE TOURNEY...
RILES WAS TRYING TO DO WHAT HE COULD TO GET BRON TO STAY.

I was listening to one of those fukking shows last friday talking about Riley's "man up" conference after the Finals and apparently the story goes that Riley wanted to meet immediately with Bron the next day after the Finals but was told by Bron to talk to Rich Paul first. This supposedly pissed off Riley and thus the press conference Riley scheduled.

Funny. Cause Cryami had no problem when he did the same thing to Cleveland.

:laff:

Yup, and in Cleveland Bron had free reign to do whatever he want and had the Cavs practice facility fukkin BUILT close to his home.... :laff:

Gilbert didn't even get a phone call from Bron before the decision and nikkaz act surprised? :heh:

This is the piece I am not getting. When have the expectations ever been lowered for this dude? He's had the highest expectations and been under the most intense scrutiny since he was a senior in HS.

yeah it's funny that 2 max contract too good to play with superstars couldn't create offense for 4 minutes in the NBA finals.

They act like he owe them something. Dude bough championships, revenue and relevance to that city. Who knows what Miami would look like if Bron went to the Knicks or Bosh stayed. Wade trying to play 82 games a year as a first option. :dead:

But one thing that surprised me, and I heard it from a number of places, is that LeBron’s wife and LeBron’s mom didn’t want to actually go.......But I’ve heard in too many places — not one or two — that Savannah didn’t actually want to go.

I work as a Private CLient Advisor for Jp Morgan and one of my private bankers who works at the Brickell Chase Branch is teh banker for Lebron's trainer and he told me this exact same thing before Lebron made his decision.

Also if you read Lebron's letter, he intimates that this was the case. He specifically talks about his wife and mom not being thrilled with the idea.

Like i said in an earlier thread, this was a brilliant PR move by his camp.

Right now they've been lowered. Any year in Miami that didn't end in a championship was considered a failure. Right now if he doesn't win a ship everyone will say "well its a young Cleveland team, they don't have much playoff experience, LeBron can't do it alone" - thats the narrative going forward for the next few years. If he had stayed in Miami and even with Wade washed up, he would be expected to win every year, especially if they got anyone besides the Spurs in the finals.
