That's pretty much it IMO. He doesn't understand the appeal so he insults it.

You can't name a "sport" where the bulk of its athletes haven't wanted to be around wrestlers/wrestling. Even when wrestling is in an it isn't "cool" period, folks like Dana who don't get it tend to take the low road "don't u know it's fake guys?!" As tho they're revealing some kind of secret. I'm always amused at least that counts for something.

No one over the age of 8 thinks it's real in 2015 though. The problem people have with people calling it fake like dudes don't get injured or crippled from it.
