That last panel is incredible artwork but I have no clue where this is going...which is typically a good thing with Dandadan.

Tatsu is on another level just from the art. This shyt is the art you get from a monthly series, and he gives it to us on the regular. Man didn't even take golden week off. It really shows that he plans ahead. The only other series weekly series that has art of this caliber on a weekly basis is "The Fragrant Flower Blooms with Dignity" and "Tune In to the Midnight Heart". All the other series I could think of have a separate author from the artist. Plus Dandadan isn't only a Romance series, unlike those two.Yoooooo those panels with the sharks

I just checked those last panels again and there's a random ear, nose and mouth floating in the air surrounded by all those sharks.
This dude's creativity is legit on some other level shyt. And we are just coming off one of the most bizarre and inventive basketball inspired fights ever, now he does this

Man the relief that Seiko can sense Momo and the tears on Momo's phase. You can only imagine what Momo was going through and the fear that her grandma would forget her. 
One thing I do appreciate about this series in how Tatsu tackles problems is that he does so in a very straightforward way. It is one avenue of his writing I really enjoy a lot. Curious what they plan to make use of the shark.

Okarun doesn't even have to be there at this point, Momo has absorbed his cryptid knowledge. I'm also glad Granny can see Momo, and curious if the fact that meds can throw off spiritual senses will come up again in the future.
I can't wait to see how everyone's powers get utilized to stop the typhoon.
Shout out to half the crew wanting to take a break from the life-or-death fight so they could look at the sharks too

Saw the prescreening earlier this afternoon holy shyt 
The first 3 episodes seem to cover chapters 34-44. Honestly, I ain't even mad how they ended at S1 anymore. This shyt was fukking incredible. Between the flashback with Evil Eye, Jiji feeling bad for it. Okarun coming to smack Evil Eye for hurting Momo. My god this shyt is awesome and there is so much heart to it too.
Directors mentions creative freedom and their would be more of it in S2. Can't wait for more

Beyond the weird shyt, I really liked we got to see Zuma saving Momo and then Jiji saving Zuma. Considering they were arguing a few chapters ago. Highly expect when Jiji sees Okarun talk with Zuma, Jiji will let his guard down.
One thing I learn for this series is how even with the weird stuff it can explain it in the most simplest way. It's like oh that makes sense
Too many shounens (most recently Kagurbachi) overcomplicates and bloats the exposition where even if you read all of it, shyt isn't even coherent. CSM and Dandadan do this really really well. Hope we see more follow.
