yeah, that's a best of with just a couple of songs that were on his only 2 albums but everythin' else comes from brown sugar and voodoo

that's how i was when i first heard his cover of the s.o.s. band's "tell me if you still care"
that song was already a favorite of mine but his version made me realize even more jus how great this song is

i can understand why many say that but honestly, i think brown sugar is the better album. voodoo is cool but brown sugar was just incredible
voodoo is more of a jam album, it's mostly about the sound. whereas brown sugar imo was about both lyrics and sound
but voodoo is funky
I use to say this same thing but I've been listening to Voodoo a lot lately and this album is damn near perfect. IMO both albums are damn near perfect it's just what you prefer lyrics & sound on Brown Sugar or funky and loose feeling of Voodoo.
