The Wire was a show about a white man(mcnulty) obsessed with seeing the fall of Blackmen rising to power. That was the plot for season 1 and 3. By season 5 Mcnulty was so obsessed with taking down Marlo he became a fake serial killer, biting dead bodies and shyt.

I dont think I could ever give the title of "greatest" to a show about a white man obsessed with taking down Blackmen trying to rise to power.

Dude was biting dead bodies just to get the proper attention on Marlo. He didnt give a fukk about losing his job...He didnt give a fukk about going to prison. His goal was to take down Marlo(a Black man rising to power) and if biting a dead body gets the ball rolling then so be it.

Do u not remember how upset Mcnulty was when he found out Stringer was killed? He was upset because he didnt get the opportunity to take him down himself. U would think "ok he's dead" but no...thats not good enough....u express your upset because your goal was to take down the Blackman and u didnt get a chance to do so.

No one was focused on Barksdale until Mcnulty put his nose where it didnt belong. No one in homocide knew him...None of the Detectives knew him.....None of the higher ups knew him.....Even Mcnultys boss refered to Avon as a "n!gger" that nobody cares about. Thats why the boss was so pissed at Mcnulty because he brought shyt to the table that no one wanted. Why the fukk was Mcnulty so obsessed with Avon? Because he was such a good cop? By season 5 mcnulty was biting dead bodies to take down Marlo. What the fukk is that? What good cop does that? Thats 5 seasons of a whiteman obsessed with taking down Blackmen rising to power.


Yes...thats what I got from that show. And if u didnt get that too then u just blind.

The Away games was the way out though. He just wasn't smart enough and ruthless enough to pull it off. The hitters couldn't get to the Senator? Daniels was stroking the hell out of Mcnultys ego...telling him..."can I pull u from beat walk?" Mcnulty was like "nah....If I cant take down N!ggers trying to rise I can still run the small frys off the block to show them who is boss...These n!ggers will feel me one way or the other"

They neutralized Mcnulty by putting him on that boat in season 2...He couldnt get at negroes while on a boat, instead he's bowing down to rich white fukks stuck on a Yacht. Mcnulty had no ego when he took that Rich whitemans money and just let them party and it wasnt their job to do that.


Mcnulty was all about taking down the big Black fish...Mcnulty saw Boadie breaking after Marlo killed his fat friend....Mcnulty wasnt being cool with Boadie before his death....he was working him to see if he'll give him anything on Marlo because Boadie was on some "fukk Marlo" shyt all in the open and Mcnulty caught it and started scheming. Thats why he bailed Boadie out of jail after he kicked out that cop car window. He was trying to play Broadie for the big fish but Marlo caught wind of it and killed Boadie. Marlo was steps ahead like a motherfukker.

Stringer going behind Avon's back is led to their downfall. Joining the co-op, having D'Angelo murdered, Smashing D's girl which led her to talk to Brianna, talking with Marlo to set up a truce which led to Bodie getting angry with how he was disrespected, having his soldiers sit their like ducks while they got killed after the friction between the two organizations and having Brother M and Omar join forces.

It all started with Stringer which led to the crew being nothing at the end. Yeah D'Angelo might have caused everything to happen but the crew was still there with some key players but Stringer killed it all. Even his Boy Slim Charles joined the co-op and met up with the Greeks.

Yeah that fugging co-op was the second most inefficient bullshyt organization of all time. Only the U.S. Congress has been a more bullshyt inefficient organization than the co-op.

Trump literally wants to treat Congress the same way that Marlo treated the co-op.

i cant help but notice that they were rising to power by selling drugs to and killing hundreds of black people. and being that mcnulty's job was to pick up those people bloody off the street and then have to find out who did it, that was where his desire came from. if he was just gunning for avons and marlos then he wouldnt have been investigating the greeks in season 2, and gotten close enough that they had to leave the country
