I don't agree here. The team needs to keep any kind of talent they have. Guards that have improved at the rate Clarkson has just don't come around too often, plus he had 7 assists tonight plenty of which set-up Russell. 6th man role sure, but to let him walk out right I think is a mistake.

We can still get a 3 and D guy while keeping Clarkson on the floor or off the bench. One can be a part of the rotation that provides defense, the other can provide the offense.

Plus Lakers will have plenty of cap space. They can just sign a 3 and D guy like Gerald Henderson or Courtney Lee in the off-season. Kent Bazemore could be a good fit there.

Its the truth. Its the most impressive thing about him, once he gets going he can control a game, everyone cant do that. He just has to learn to be that player consistently.
