Super Cheech
I Feel So Westcoast
That's my future superstar.. Stood by em since Day 1 here and offline :mjCryLA:
He gets to the paint at decent rate and is getting better at it. Also, he's surprisingly a good finisher and has a good floater.1's; Russell doesn't consistently get into the paint like those two can. Russell's been a 2 his whole life. The push to make him a PG never made sense, especially when he's 6'5".
Let Clarkson be the PG like he's always been and have Russell focus on scoring first. He's always gonna make the right passes when the opportunities present themselves.
Roy and Curry were clearly better day 1.

I don't get it breh. Curry and Lillard (among others) look to score almost every time down the court and that aggressiveness opens the floor for their teammates. Russell can do the same thing.
Clarkson still has tunnel vision and just can't find guys like Russell consistently does. With that said there is nothing wrong with having 2 combo guards in the back court if we have a lot of versatility at the other positions.
They were both older day 1 also. Hes obviously not a finished product
I gotta take Noel over Oak if I had to chooseId rather build around him that noel
Russell has shown the ability to do that. He's our best PNR player player and it isn't close and his feel first the game is extremely advanced for his age.The difference is that curry and lillard are both great at igniting the offense
Yea it's obvious as hell Russell is a PG....Russell just has a better basketball IQ and he's the type you want as a floor general. Nothing makes Clarkson qualified to run point over russell. He's more athletic but that's it.He gets to the paint at decent rate and is getting better at it. Also, he's surprisingly a good finisher and has a good floater.

That can be learned. Curry was a SG his entire life until his last year at Davidson. He had to learn the position and how to ignite the offense. Westbrook was another example of a guy that was converted to PG in the NBA.The difference is that curry and lillard are both great at igniting the offense
Russell has a better feel than Clarkson, but he's still a 2. Some of you guys act like that means he can't pass the ball. It will help defensively as well. Both have their issues on that side of the ball but Clarkson has much better physical tools to keep up with opposing PGs, just needs a real coach. He gets to the paint at decent rate and is getting better at it. True but one was a better athlete/stronger at Washington day 1 and the other is the GOAT shooter....huge reach to bet he has that upside.

It's harder to build around a low post back to basket big in the age where small ball is taking over
Russell has shown the ability to do that. He's our best PNR player player and it isn't close and his feel first the game is extremely advanced for his age.
He was a better ball handler, finisher, passer over steph day one
Better ball handler, passer than roy day one

What I've been trying to argue is that the positions don't matter much anymore in the modern age...there is a lot of ambiguity.Russell has a better feel than Clarkson, but he's still a 2.
