There are a few celebrities in a lifetime that smack you with their passing. D was a legend and part of my top 5 musicians. Sucks to hear he is gone.

I saw him at the Apollo in the late 90s. Went through all of brown sugar with only a fender…no band no backup singers just an ungodly talent.
