I'll answer but everything may be out of order. She's a singer. Prince gave her the cosign many years ago. She had a hit song with Chris Brown and her popularity rose after she posted a video of her dancing to Drake's "In My Feelings." Everyone had love for Dani until she started going back and forth with Dababy's baby mama, Meme. She took a break from her usual antics of taunting Meme online and decided to make a song with lyrics saying "yellow bone is what he wants". Resorting to skin tone to attack her competition is what pissed everyone off. Dani is not biracial nor black so that just made it look worse. Articles were written revealing that she created a new image by curly perming her hair and tanning to "blackfish". She started getting flack for saying the N word as a non-black woman and that is when she took the Cardi B route and started claiming that she is black. She posted dna results that only confirmed that she is mostly a white Dominican. She's been disliked ever since by both women and men hence that actor clapping back at her on twitter.

Artist are a dime a dozen these days so it’s not that far fetched to believe that some people don’t know who many of these artist are. Especially if they ain’t checking for social media like that nor care to find out about them. I know of this chick, but I couldn’t tell you anything about her outside of doing a song with Chris Brown. Even then, I couldn’t even tell you the name of the song.
