No breh, he won the Belt from Triple H and Edge in a triple threat, then lost it back to Edge the next month, but the point of him having the belt was supposed to be the long storyline where Matt turned on him and caused him to lost the belt with the pyros.

Those matches he had with Edge and Triple H were awesome.

He won the Belt 2 more times after that, he beat Edge again in an amazing ladder match, only to lose to a Punk cash in, then beat Punk for the best 2 months later then lost it back to Punk before he quit.

The stock has nothing to do with the talents and everything to do with the bloated expectations of the network and a new tv deal that wasn't as big as they hyped up.

blandys title reign was awful. He never had any classic matches or feuds.

And if we're gonna go back in time when Orton debuted wrasslin fell completely off the map and ratings fell tremendously. Wwes failure in producing new top tier talent made everyone just forget about wrestling period

Only recently has there been a resurgence in wrasslin fandom and its due to guys like Bryan, The Shield, Cesaro and the Wyatts.

1. WWE Stock was at its all time high under the previous title holder, under his reign vince loses hundreds of millions of dollars and it plummets to a 52week low
2. He defends the belt once to Kane in a JOKE story line.
3. He wins the belt at wrestlemania and doesn't even give legit rematches to the people he defeated. In Kayfabe he should be a cowardly heel.
4. He won in a triple threat; we ALL KNOW that nerfs the quality of a win
5. WWE held a PPV without the title being defend and it was a success and was viewed as a great ppv. When was the last time this happened?
6. The title will be stripped on free tv.
7. the new title will be defended in a gimmick match, so it actually nerfs the NEW champion for not 'defeating' him.
8. Participated in one of the worst title programs ever in Kane vs/bryan.
9. Ratings have been doing the moonwalk during his reign.
10. Got his ASS BEAT WEEK AFTER WEEK on tv
11. got stretched out by kane and got no revenge and now wont.
12. NXT Title picture has become more compelling than WWE title picture.
13. Shield storyline is more compelling than WWE title picture.


Please, find me a title run since bob backlund's cup of coffee with the belt that was so bad? And before you even MENTION it, come with FACTS because ORTON driving the wwe stock to an all time high and BUILDING UP for daniel bryan's payout makes mentioning him NULL and VOID.
