The Wrestling Observer Newsletter is reporting that Brock Lesnar vs. Roman Reigns is still the match being talked about most for WrestleMania 31 in California.

Dave Meltzer noted that he has heard that Roman Reigns was decided on facing Brock Lesnar shortly before or after WrestleMania XXX. Many reports surfaced with Triple H and Vince McMahon at odds if it should be The Rock or Roman Reigns getting the championship shot at WrestleMania 31.

As for Brock Lesnar, he was not supposed to originally face John Cena at SummerSlam and Night of Champions. The original booking called for Brock Lesnar to come back and beat Daniel Bryan, which would “bring him back to reality.”

They wanted to book Lesnar to break the hearts of the fans, but the injury to Bryan caused for plans to change. That is when they decided on John Cena vs. Brock Lesnar.

If wwe really wants reigns to go face Brock at mania they should thank their stars that Bryan is hurt cause the backlash of them feeding Bryan to lesnar so that reigns eventually beats him . Have they learned nothing from cena ? They want reigns sucks let's go reigns chants ?

Doing The Brock title Summerslam squash with Bryan would've been STUPID. People would've just gotten mad like they did at the start of the year if he didn't get it back. Then you're left with people shytting on Brock's future title feuds chanting for Bryan cuz they feel he was screwed. Him losing to Brock in normal match and moving on to something else would be the best way to handle it.

Cena getting squashed worked because it's something that rarely ever happened and there was a huge chunk of the fans that were clamoring to see it.

D-Bry's surgery was a blessing in disguise, but the backlash from a Daniel Bryan burial would have being amazing. With it happening to Cena it just makes Lesnar IWC's hero. Everyone is talking about how they got their 9.99's worth. They've finally built the ultimate heel, but the real challenge is can they build the ultimate face.
