You guys are not going to sign Paul George in free agency. When is the last time celtics convinced an actual superstar to come to their team via free agency? Please Al Horford.
KD was SOOOOO close with signing for the Celtics. Had the Warriors never blew 3-1 lead, he would have signed with green already.

It will really depends on how the season pans out. Warriors could possibly implode during the playoffs. Signing max for Curry means one of Iggy/Draymond or Klay is gone, unless the team is willing to overpay with the luxury tax.
Hayward have a good chance since he have past relationship with Brad Stevens. Millsap is more a possible option than Lowry.
At least Laker fans only care about winning championships meanwhile the new age Celtic fans are fine with treadmilling for years.

Draymond is under contract till 2020, and Klay is under contract till 2019, they aren't letting any of their core 4 go.
I didn't list Millsap, because I wouldn't give him a max right now, he's 32 and being undersized means that when the wheels come off it's going to happen suddenly. Hayward is the only option that has a realistic chance of maybe signing there, but the Jazz can offer him more money and he still has the potential of signing with them for 220+ million if he makes the all-nba this year or next. I'd bet that he'll do a 1+1 with the Jazz this summer.

If you're not in contention for a title you are treadmilling. Hawks have done it for more than a decade. Congrats on the 2nd seed, does it mean anything if you aren't actually competing? Nope, so put up or shut up: if celtics make the finals I'll be banned forever and if they don't then it's you.
