J.R. Giddens (1st round, 30th pick) and
Semih Erden (2nd round, 60th pick) in the
2008 NBA Draft.
Ehhhh.
..could have taken DeAndre Jordon or Goran Dragic instead of Giddens, but every other team passed on them until the second round too. No pick above 30th.
2009 Draft
June 25, 2009: Selected
Lester Hudson (2nd round, 58th pick) in the
2009 NBA Draft.
Nothing there at 58.

June 24, 2010: Selected
Avery Bradley (1st round, 19th pick) and
Luke Harangody (2nd round, 52nd pick) in the

WIN. Only decent players after him were Lance Stephenson and Hassan Whiteside, both of whom everyone else passed on too (second round guys) and both were knuckleheads in some extent.

MarShon Brooks (1st round, 25th pick) and
E'Twaun Moore (2nd round, 55th pick) in the
2011 NBA Draft.
June 23, 2011: Traded
MarShon Brooks to the
New Jersey Nets for
JaJuan Johnson and a 2014 2nd round draft pick.
Could have had Jimmy Butler, Chandler Parsons and Isaiah Thomas, but so could have everyone, all 3 went after pick 30.

Jared Sullinger (1st round, 21st pick),

Hmmm...Lucas Nogueira or Kelly Olynyk???? (or Giannis...sad celtics fan)
2014 Draft
June 26, 2014: Selected
Marcus Smart (1st round, 6th pick) and
James Young (1st round, 17th pick) in the
2014 NBA Draft.
Not a single guy after James Young looks promising in anyway as of today. As for Marcus, the players after him are up for debate: Julius Randle/Zach Levine??? I'll take Smart thanks. Dario Saric may end up being just as worthwhile, bit the Serb picks are always hard to know for years after.
2015 Draft
June 25, 2015: Selected
Terry Rozier (1st round, 16th pick),
R.J. Hunter (1st round, 28th pick),
Jordan Mickey (2nd round, 33rd pick) and
Marcus Thornton (2nd round, 45th pick) in the
2015 NBA Draft.
There ain't a body in that draft below them whose better or worth more than any of them, nothing higehr than 16th.
2016 Drafts
Too Flippin soon.
So....show me, literally, where he 'can't draft' please. Just becasue some second round picks work out, doesn't mean its Danny's fault he didn't take them a dozen picks before they were taken...EVERYONE missed on them, not just Danny.
The only real legit beef is Giannis, since he was taken right after Olynyk. Everything else, you haven't a leg to stand on homie.
