Their window with this current group actually ends after next season. :ehh:

Thomas, Bradley and Smart are all free agents in the summer of 2018. Just to keep those three, you're probably looking at $60 million or more per season. Combined with the Horford, Brown and Crowder contracts, they'll be right up against the cap. The Horford signing was clearly a win now move, so not doing anything before the deadline this season is extremely puzzling, especially considering what Cousins and Noel went for.

What they were asking for (for butler and George) would be the equivalent of Russell Ingram randle and your 1st rounder (if you keep it)

Would you do that?

No? Shut your mouth then, don't be stupid

terrible comparison
the players asked for in those trades were bradley, marcus smart, crowder and a pick
that is not the equivalent. bradley is established and pretty much has hit his peak as a player...so has marcus smart broken jumper ass....and if you think crowder will be more than a 3 and D guy :mjlol:
russell, ingram, and randle have not hit the peak of their potential...and you're a liar if you think they have....whether they do reach the potential they have is unforeseen....but still....all of those guys are older than the lakers set as well......especially crowder and bradley.

Russell and Ingram have more potential than any of those players, poor comparison

You didn't refute anything in my post. Their window is through next season because all those bargain contracts besides Crowder are due for massive raises. :bernieumad:

Even if Ingram wasn't included would you do it? You can't argue both those Brooklyn picks could at least end up being players as good as randle and Russell and give up 3 or 4 players on top of that?

The Celtics have to make a decision between which two of Thomas smart and Bradley they want to keep. I can definitely see Bradley being traded this offseason

Jaylen Brown and Smart are comparable get over your homerism

Jaylen has played better than Ingram this season

As a Pacers fan I was high key hoping PG went to Boston :manny:

He's good but overrated. His offense is streaky af and he settles for jumpers way too much when he should be driving. I think his leg injury has made him hesitant.

There is no way PG13 is better than Butler this year. Not even close. He's not better than Gordon Hayward either.

PG13 looks the part of a superstar so ths that has folks hoodwinked. I'm mad af that dude hyped up how he's going for MVP this year and gives us 22 and 6 on 45% shooting as a forward :comeon:

Let's ride this season out and see how the playoffs go, but to me if he was as advertised, Jeff Teague and Myles Turner should be enough to have a better record than 30-28. If he doesn't show any improvement this season or next, we ain't going anywhere with him. Trade him off and lets build around Myles and picks.

He'd be perfect in Boston because he would fall into his natural position as a #2 option behind IT2.

I actually high key think comparing Butler to PG right now is disrespectful. Are y'all aware of how hard Jimmy is balling right now?
