If you were so logical you'd realize that you get a top 3 pick praying that it turns into a Paul George. :mjlol:

You don't roll the dice to hope to get an IT, or Al Horford.

You must be under the impression that the Celtics are going to take these picks and go on some kind of prime Sam Presti run. You can believe that, that's fine. But don't claim that you're doing it while simultaneously carrying the banner for logic and rationality:heh:

Yeah I understand if a Celtic fan would rather keep the pick but automatically assuming these draft picks are definitely gonna be stars is not wise

There's no guarantee these picks are gonna be as good as a George or Butler

This is a very good draft but that doesn't mean every pick at the top is gonna workout and nobody in this draft is a generation talent and franchise changer

Someone on realgm mentioned that Stevens would get fired. Admins locked the thread. But maybe its a case where Stevens cant get to that next level aka fire Carlisle for Larry Brown or Mark Jackson for Steve Kerr
That person shoulda got banned too.

That Carlisle couldn't get the Pistons over the hump talk is laughable. Larry Brown didn't get them over the hump; Rasheed Wallace did.

And since they're a team that's playing for the playoffs it kills the young players value because they're coming off the bench and dont have gaudy stats :mjlol:

If they get Fultz or Ball neither will start, which will depress their value.
breh, you have to visit boston celtics realgm forum. Most of their fans are still optimistic after 0-2, it is by far the most clueless brainwashed group of fans. They are still believing in danny ainge asset fairytales without realizing that they need to get rid of some of those players to actually give minutes for fultz or ball. The rebounding issues have not been addressed ever since 2009 but they dont see it as the problem because they have assets. Basically every problem that you throw at them their answer is assets

whats also funny is that all of the celtics players, besides jaylen brown, have reached their peak value, from next year it will start dropping and danny didnt use the opportunity to trade for a better player. Danny got his fanbase brainwashed into believing that guys like smart, crowder, bardley are some fringe all star type of guys :mjlol:

Boston thinks they can wait out the LeBron era and hope they can compete when he gets older, but that plan's fukking dumb because you have to take your shot when it's available.

If the Warriors decided they should just be patient after they lost to the Clippers in game 7 of the first round in 2014, they wouldn't be where they are now.

Obviously I know Ainge isn't getting fired. To be honest I think Wyc would get rid of Stevens before Ainge. He's teflon in Boston.

That said, I think Ainge needs to pick a side this offseason. No more of this one foot in, one foot out bullshyt. He needs to decide if he wants to win-now or go through a youth movement. Rebuilding teams don't give guys in their 30s $100 million and teams trying to win now aren't reluctant to acquire established stars in their prime for unproven players

This win-now and win-later plan really doesn't seem all that effective right now. This team can't hang with the likes of the Bulls & Hawks right now, let alone the Cavs or Warriors. And when you compare the young guys to those of teams like Minnesota, Philly & Phoenix they pale in comparison. So right now they aren't winning now, and they lack high level prospects: Only player under 25 who looks like he could even be a starter in this league is Brown. He has to nail at least one of those Nets picks, no ifs or buts

So something's gotta give right? Is that really unreasonable? :ld:

But for now, you're down 0-2 to an 8 seed after failing to acquire any help at the deadline in a weak Eastern Conference. Oh, and your head coach has a 2-10 career playoff record.
holy shyt. we have a ghost among us. :ohhh:
