Obviously I know Ainge isn't getting fired. To be honest I think Wyc would get rid of Stevens before Ainge. He's teflon in Boston.
That said, I think Ainge needs to pick a side this offseason. No more of this one foot in, one foot out bullshyt. He needs to decide if he wants to win-now or go through a youth movement. Rebuilding teams don't give guys in their 30s $100 million and teams trying to win now aren't reluctant to acquire established stars in their prime for unproven players
This win-now and win-later plan really doesn't seem all that effective right now. This team can't hang with the likes of the Bulls & Hawks right now, let alone the Cavs or Warriors. And when you compare the young guys to those of teams like Minnesota, Philly & Phoenix they pale in comparison. So right now they aren't winning now, and they lack high level prospects: Only player under 25 who looks like he could even be a starter in this league is Brown. He has to nail at least one of those Nets picks, no ifs or buts
So something's gotta give right? Is that really unreasonable?
