It took Rondo tearing his ACL or w/e for this to be a series. I guarantee you if Boston got swept (like it seemed they were about to), absolutely nothing wouldn't have changed as far as the train goes. With the way Washington plays them, they're still in a very scary situation. Washington treats Boston like GSW treats the Clips it seems.

We are 2-2 against the Wizards. Also lets not act like Boston didn't look mentally absent the first two games. This series would have always been close because of the matchup but we wouldn't have gotten washed the way we did in the first two if the IT stuff didn't happen. rondo's absence doesn't explain why horford, Bradley and Olynk and even Rozier have been playing well on both ends.
Wrong.
Boston and Washington match up well against each other. They split their regular season series at 2-2. And each game therein was a convincing effort for the winning team.
