The H
Kyrie can't even lead his team to a positive net rating in the regular season without LeBron on the court. :russ:

Better than Harden, who just tied the all time record for total points created by one player?:mjlol:

Cause I know you aren't trying to say Kyrie is better cause Harden plays no defense :heh:

That's the same dude who said Lance Stevenson is better than Harden. Needs to stick to football

Bron won't be there
U hope.....but the moves made today change everything and prove Bron likely knew something was in the works and is still pushing to stay if a satisfactory situation can be arranged.......retiring out every top dog wants a home franchise they laud over.....Bron would retire and own the city

I saw the move pop up on my phone while I was on my way to the gym, initially I went...
:ehh:

Okay, Boston looks like they made out good.

Then I read further... and I see it's for IT and Crowder and another guy...

:jbhmm:

I'm choppin' it up with my bro, like... why didn't CLE trade Kyrie for more stability going forward seeing that Bron my leave, and IT only has a year left.

Then I see that they included the Nets Pick too

:patrice:

The more I think about it... this was a terrible trade by Boston, and this deal could very well be the move that keeps Lebron in CLE depending on what that pick turns out to be.

The most confusing thing to me, is the fact that Ainge passed on Fultz and Lonzo making it seem like he was riding it out with IT. Didn't want to grab a PG for the future. Then he trades IT for Kyrie who only has 2 years left on his deal, and who is really unproven as being a 1st Option and Leader for a team.

I swear I thought that Nets pick was untouchable, and I'm shocked Kyrie Irving is the guy he gave it up for. With all the other guys that he passed on, I'm legit surprised he pulled the trigger on this given what they did in the draft, and what they have been doing leading up to this point.
outside of Marvin, next yrs draft is weak as fukk. This past draft was the generational draft. Only L coming to Boston is if they get the #1.

The trade looks bad for the C's but I can see some of the logic behind the moves. Kyrie > IT, younger, better, and no supermax that if IT signed they wouldn't be able to retain Smart. Crowder would have ate into Tatum and Brown's minutes. And that Nets pick is hard to gauge truthfully, because they got better and won't be actively trying to tank. I could honestly see that pick ending up late lottery, still valuable nevertheless but probably not top 5

However... most of that is negated by the fact that they could have gave up way less for Butler and PG. And they coulda made the pick top 2 protected and Cavs prob would have still taken it.

Why do people think Boston is significantly better? ...I could see it if they somehow still had bradley, crowder, olynyk, smart etc...

Celts coach has some work cut out for him
