My boy stop hating :mjlol:

The receipts was posted.

The nikka Rooga has 185K monthly Spotify listeners just stop it.

A lot of nikkas from the "real Drill movement" fukk with NY drill you so badly want to discredit. I don't even know what your deal is. :heh:

And That’s fine breh but what I’m telling you is we not playing NYC drill out here. Chicago might be playing it but we not.

I didn’t say nobody…I said collectively, as in the majority of people (outside NYC/jersey). Collectively doesn’t mean everyone
The average hip-hop artist is not listened to collectively. NY drill is a major sub-genre/niche in hip-hop right now and in its short history has broken some artists that have became quite successful that's just a fact.

There are only a select few that become mainstream stars in this game and are listened to collectively by the masses that's maybe a dozen guys/girls in the game today. It's not the knock you think it is.

I honestly think its just ingrained in NY people to defend anything NY against outsiders. I just asked my shorty (she from NY) why yall lil ny drill nikkas be growling in mics and she said Im just a hater and that its better than Chicago drill.

Its really hilarious to observe IRL

nycdrill is informing international drill

youth from the motherland south america europe asia copying the image dances lingo & even the fukking gang signs of lil nikkas from thee city

@ISO no one is listening though ha

the negative commentary on thee city always comes from ot spots that imagine themselves in competition with the mecca

but to the rest of the world they still very much study us to inform them of what the vibe is & will be

real ones appreciate & salute everything dope

don't let your insecurities stop you from catching the vibe ha

Imo the beats the producers like Cash Cobain, Riot, TJ, Chris Saves, War, etc. are making is the most forward and different sounding shyt in hip-hop right now where shyt has gotten pretty redundant with piano trap beats in the game as a whole :francis:

Some of this shyt is straight ear candy

The majority ain’t listened to collectively, cool. But this has been put forth to a wider audience and collectively been deemed trash. :yeshrug:

This isn't true. The world is getting sturdy. Artists are being signed. Songs are going viral and hitting the Billboard. The aesthetic and fashion has been influential. Platforms are being built off the back of NY drill. The biggest artists are well in tune from Drake to Travis.

U don't have to like it, but it is here.
