Never thought about it, but you're right. Really, the only star NFL QBs that came out of an elite college program are Watson and Herbert (Clemson & Oregon. Murray isn't a star, so he doesn't count).

Murray is a star. Stafford played at GA. Brady at MI. Burrows at LSU .. all these schools are more elite than Oregon.

Oregon is not elite

Michigan is a blue blood, but sans last season they’re not elite in the current CFB landscape. But Michigan is more elite than Oregon even with the past 20 years of underachieving

I’m not throwing elite label on any program that hasn’t won a title in the playoff era

I’d love him at MSU but I highly doubt we were ever in any real consideration. Tucker hasn’t proven enough to bring in a QB of that caliber, the only real pitch would be building something as the star and playing close to home. No way MSU is throwing Nike money at him and I doubt UWM/Ishbia is shelling out 6 figure jobs to his family

Had he been like class of 2018, Pre-NIL, he likely ends up in AA

You might be right.. but if I remember correctly, both mom and dad wanted him close to home. Then the Phil Knight effect took place and shyt was history after that.

What makes you think that ? Why would any kid go to a losing program who’s not committed to football, degree would be beastly but that’s not his focus

Harbaugh did himself no favors on the recruiting trail by assuming he was getting a NFL job

For being a QB whisperer, all his QBs while at MI have been pretty average and none have done anything at the next level

With all that said, Moore at Oregon isn’t about what Harbaugh or Michigan did wrong, and more about what Oregon did right for Moore.

Taking a look around the NFL most starting QBs, particularly the elite QBs aren’t from the major CFB programs (OSU Bama UGA). If you’re truly talented (or white) you’ll make the league

Name a coach that has built up qbs that weren’t generationally good, or damn near that level of good ?? It’s so relative, when speaking to how good a coach and qb are nikkas just recruiting and hoping

Oregon has won 2 pac chips, and since 2010 has been to 2 national championship games been in the playoffs, and has been to several Ny 6 games what are we saying here
