part of this is the disney strong arm.. remember when they signed that big deal to show content and movies from disney/pixar/marvel and starwars only for disney to announce a year later they starting their own service and deciding to pull content...

From Netflix's perspective, why continue to produce a show and partner with your new competition (after they have pulled their biggest movies from your platform) on a bunch of shows with declining viewership? If these shows were doing gandbusters, then I'm sure Netflix would have continued with them. But It just doesn't make sense for Netflix to continue producing content through a lame duck partnership with what is now their primary rival. Same with Disney.

Instead, they'll devote their resources to content they wholly own and are in charge of creatively, instead of paying Marvel TV to develop shows for them.
