NBA players weren’t/aren’t in 3x3 because all the qualifiers were during the season, and you have to play in them to compete in the Olympics.

There were W players on the women’s team because they didn’t have that schedule conflict.

They’re the best in the world at the fundamental sport. They wouldn’t need more than a few practices to get up to speed on the football side. These dudes came up playing Spring 7 on 7s
