What you aren’t factoring for is flag football removes size from the equation. So Mahomes is athletic for a guy who’s 6’2 220….This cat is 5’7 140 Cant compare it. At that size there are regular joes who have nfl speed, they just don’t have the requisite size to go with it

Having watched his highlights, I kind've get what he's saying. He's more familiar with flag football, so his knowledge of how the game works is better than Mahomes.

In those highlights, he was making throws that no serious NFL QB would make. Not because they're incapable of it, but because they're trained out of them due to how tackle football works. For example, some of the TDs in the compilation from the OP are obvious incompletions at best, or hospital balls at worst when you have to account for a defender being able to make contact. So, I could easily see Mahomes passing up what would be obvious throws to flag QBs just due to having spent the majority of his life throwing into windows accounting for tackles.

Yes. They can grab the flags. It's not some giant mystery for them. It's much easier for NFL players to grab a flag off anything or anyone than it is to tackle someone in the NFL. There's small cats in the NFL too and turning their hips isn't much of a barrier for an NFL player to have to jump. You can say that about us, but them? They'd be absolutely fine. Ain't no one in the flag football universe going to be harder to deal with than a Saquon or Tyreek or Breece Hall or a bunch of other cats in the open field.

You are defending this statement based on this cats' ego in a way that you shouldn't. The construct of flag football isn't that much different than 7 on 7 and NFL QBs playing 7 on 7 are DEADLY and players in a sport that requires very fast reaction times aren't going to be confounded by dudes with flags instead of pads.

NBA players weren’t/aren’t in 3x3 because all the qualifiers were during the season, and you have to play in them to compete in the Olympics.

There were W players on the women’s team because they didn’t have that schedule conflict.
