If the Jets are building almost exclusively through the draft, every player was gonna be cheap and the guys slated for extensions wouldn't be worth that much anyway. By the time a player was gonna be worth a hefty extension, Revis' deal would have been almost up if not up already.

Let y'all tell it, Revis may not be the same player in 2 years, so if that's true, he wouldn't have much of a leg to stand on, and if he wasn't as good in 2 years it wouldn't be as tough to let him go.

Jets go 3-13 and are in a position to draft Bridgewater, Manziel, Boyd, Logan Thomas.
