Norfeast groovin…
Simply put, Carr isn’t ARod. I don’t think he can make the throws that they had in GB. And defenses know that. Plus the Raiders offense won’t slant towards Adams the way GB did, way more weapons and options. Just my theory though. Could be wrong

That’s fair. Carr has to prove it. I think the combined weapons and modern scheme under McDaniels will be what take him to that 4-potential 5 star level. :ehh:

If nothin else, he has no excuses. :ehh:

Carr’s ability to make ANY NFL throw has never been a problem.

Simply put he has never had the caliber player to run a specific route that would showcase the WR route tree… and to a fault - Carr believing this is a Truth/his lack of belief in his WRs has resulted in him being ‘dump off King’ after his first read.

He grew under Gruden in this aspect. He has, even if not statistically… he has continued his growth as a Quarterback.

With that said - don’t get it twisted! Even with Carr’s flaws/Organization’s inability of surrounding him with equal caliber players… Carr is top 10 at his position and has been for years now.

Just win baby!

Carr had Cooper and Crabtree.

And he's never reached that peak again after he broke his back. He looked decent until Ruggs went out and then a lot of his fukk ups were overlooked cause of the drama and them making the playoffs.

Sometimes he stands in the pocket or moves around. Most of the time he gets scared and forces throws when he doesn't have to. It's the reason they ain't make it past wildcard.

So Cal
Crabtree and Renfrow are the most reliable receivers Carr has had as a Raider. And to be fair, Crabs was thought to be washed up in 2015. Cooper is/was up and down. The rest have been washed/glorified 4th receivers.
Crabtree and renfrow are. Carr had that major meltdown against Washington in 17 and it took him years to recover.

Don't disagree with the sentiment, but Carr made the Pro Bowl in 2017 (I believe as an alternate)

Carr has definitely had his problems to overcome on the field, but I think the Raiders deserve some blame as well especially 2018-2020.

I can truly say that this franchise right has stability not seen since the late 70s.

Franchise is doing it's job, ball is in Carr's court

Crabtree was on the decline
And Cooper with us was ABSOLUTELY ASS
I still remember that titans game where Carr targeted him 3 times in the endzone and he dropped them passes
Or his dropped passes when he was wide open there’s a reason we shipped his ass out
Ruggs going out basically fukked up the offense entirely because we didn’t have a deep threat which allowed safeties to jump routes on us and it wasn’t helping with our run game being eh and that fukked up offensive line/stupid ass play calling which is the reason that we didn’t beat the bengals not Carr.
Putting a Weak TE to defend 1vs1 on Hendrickson or the oline being shyt and doing dumb ass holding plays when we had the momentum with the run or our offensive coordinator SENDING OUR 2 BEST WR AWAY FROM THE END ZONE ON THAT FINAL PLAY.

Carr’s game is going/has to elevate through McDaniels offensive mind and the weapons he has now they fix that offensive line this off seasn and its going to be scary fukking hours who they finna focus on? Davante? Waller? Renfrow?!?:mjlit:

Not under any kind of pressure. No reason to rush the pass. They need a td. He throws to the 2. Same as he's always done. :unimpressed:

There was no one else open IN THE ENDZONE
BOTH WALLER AND RENFROW ARE NOT NEAR THE ENDZONE. It was a shytty play called for everyone involved by ours Truly Greg dumb fukk Olson

Any kind of pressure? Lmao you think really that oline would’ve held up when they wasn’t most of the game or the season or with the shyt ass penalties that were killing our momentum . 2 seconds or more more and it’s probably a sack because he would’ve been waiting for them to get open or another fukking hold that sends us back. Carr didn’t get that luxury of a disciplined oline. Even had they held up Renfrow nor Waller are in play to make a TD its easy to say this shyt when you are watching it from there and not on the actual field.
That play never should’ve been called no fukking way you don’t try to win the game with your not one but two best receivers on the field.
