The problem is that Garrett is a bit of a freelancer. Rodgers requires precise timing and expects his WRs to be exactly where they're supposed to be. So they're not connecting at all. Not even close really.
shyt, Rodgers has more of a connection with Mike Williams. Problem is that Mike has been eased into things as he's coming off a torn ACL. Therefore Allen Lazard is our #1 WR for all intents and purposes
This will be a completely different offense with Adams though, because he'll come in and immediately be on the same page

TBF, he didnt choose carr over rodgers. IIRC it common knowledge that rodgers was gonna retire or leave the team.

No wonder he loves Aaron Rodgers, they're both basket cases. Going to a losing franchise because you want to play with your meh former college QB was an insane career decision. I also remember him cosigning Piece becoming coach and that felt like a death sentence at the time. Pierce is a players coach but he's also a hard nosed football guy. I'd compare him to Dan Campbell in the sense that if you aren't working your ass off and all about winning, he doesn't want you on his team. Adams' obsession with stats and personal performance was always gonna clash with Piece, it was only a matter of time before shyt hit the fan.
And why do you think the Raiders would give Adams to their biggest rival??
