This could be a really good conversation.
We actually have some one from that area, and seems to know alot about the history of this place... And about where it currently stands.
No one is addressing him and his claims that the place Dave Chappelle lives, at one time had a larger black population...
Taken over by white hippies... Then Dave came and that area saw an explosion of that type of demographic.
All the blacks are pretty much gone now.
Like some people, I moved where I moved because of the lack of people in general... White, black, whatever.... I didn't wanna see a muthafuka.
And my biggest concern was any future developments that would change what I liked about my house... They reassured me that nothing new would be brought to that area.
So I understand Dave's stance.
But if @Luke Cage is saying this community already had a certain look and feel to it before the arrival of Dave ..
I think someone should point that out to Dave Chappelle and maybe he might either think differently about his stance or come up with a new plan ... Since he has so much money and clout in the community

I'm pro affordable housing more than anything. A lot of people in here were anti affordable housing and celebrating the idea that d.c shared their views. I won't be apologizing for anything

Just like I said, if Dave was an elitist and hated poor people, he would not be living in fukking Ohio. right outside of Dayton of all places? My cousin went to Law School at University of Dayton and he couldn’t wait to get the hell out. Some communities don’t want to turn their town into a run of the mill ugly sprawl type of suburb and more power to them. The town doesn’t even allow chains.
People, for whatever reason want to paint Dave as an ogre, but he is not that that from everything I’ve read and seen about the guy.
