Why are people talking about wearing a mask on some 'if he did, he'd be good'?

It does not matter if you wear a mask or not. If you out there in places with people you will catch it. The mask mostly helps you not spread it to other people. It's not a shield against catching it.

Masks only work as a protection for you if everyone else around you is wearing one also.

wearing a mask would help reduce the viral load you'd be exposing yourself to. It absolutely helps.

Pretty much. That alone is a slippery slope in this time of the pandemic. My mother used to smoke on the regular and that shyt was sadly her death sentence .
