I don't understand how people who take dikks to the ass, can be so sensitive.
I don't think he's gay, I think he got offended at being called gay. While I feel it's completely childish, I got a friend that pulled up on our barber for since we were in middle school for implying that he was with some funny shyt.
Why is it that comedians get to hide behind being comedians when they say something but the rest of us dont?
Dave gets to call people sensative. When are the rest of us going to get that same benefit of the doubt?
The same reason the court jester was the only one that could get away with making fun of the king, there is an art to making observations and getting people to laugh at themselves a lot of times, that is ultimately the function of comedy.
Great stuff Dave, bring real comedy back. Comics and art should be able to speak freely in some form or fashion
Dave can and does speak freely.
But people have just as much of a right to be offended and speak on what he has to say, it works both ways. In his last two specials, he told some brilliantly offensive jokes lol, he did what he was supposed to do and still made plenty of space for people, some of them being his fans to decide whether he really was trying to be a bully or not with his comedy. Tell your jokes, have your hurt feelings, afterward let's meet an understanding somewhere in the middle so comedians can still be the ones to bring up things that the crowd are saying under their breaths, because there's going to be a time when it's vitally IMPORTANT to give a voice to that.
