He had some on HOFFA and that was his last decent album to me with replay value

Yeah the rapping is good but the beats sound uninspired. And what happened to dudes voice

His voice really changed to some other sh*t in less than 10 years. That's wild. That might be affecting his impact.

But yeah, Araab's sh*t is too generic and cookie-cut for me. Really sparks no kinda feeling or vibe, at all. I hate dry ass beats. East needs way better production.

I enjoyed it. I think east is just an ok artist. My expectations are pretty tempered of what he’s capable of. The production complements him and is good overall. Swizz sucks so I don’t see the comparison.

I think I like the beats on Zombie more but the rapping on Living proof more.

Lyrically, I dig what he's doing. Still not happy with what happened to bro's voice, but he ain't no slouch with the raps.

These beats are wack, to me, though. Same generic sh*t Araab's been doing forever. No soul in his production and there's no knock. These don’t bang. I would like East to get back in with V Don for a whole project, or maybe even someone like Daringer or Conductor Williams. Araab's sh*t sounds too lazy and dry for me.

I thought when Dave East started hanging with Westside Gunn that we'd hear him over Griselda production but all we got was an album cover for HOFFA
