yea it might be a little tiring but that's his niche. Game is influenced by Snoop, Pac, Eazy-E, Dr. Dre, Nas, Jay, the list goes on and on. that's why it's hard to say what he sounds like for me IMO
I get it. However there has to be a difference between "influence" & "sounding like x, y, z".
Everyone is influenced by somebody but when you lack an identity of yourself, your own story & etc all your career is literally you just rapping about them in your career span of 10+ year. How can you respect it? Everything is what OTHER artist have done or does & you collecting the checks for mentioning it constantly.
Even alot of his lyrics are literally older lyrics by some OG cat but then a few changes here & there. Its like cheating in a school exam. 2 cats both write the same shyt but since 1 cheated he has to add a couple of tweaks to it to make it not obvious that he/she cheated.
Alot of cats did that coming up. When they first started practicing their skills & being kids/teens they used lyrics from their favorite rappers during freestyles.
