He recently stopped OD'ing with Troy Ave's music because I remember when everyone was glued to the radio to hear Meeks diss to Drake we had to suffer through Troy Ave and Fetty Wap for hours

Dave East is a way better rapper and way more humble as person than Troy so I wouldn't even be mad if Flex kept playing his music a lot or they tried to force that "NY Savior" crown on him because he would actually deserve that title

I remember being slammed by Future, Fetty, Omarion and Rihanna that night, Troy Ave was never getting huge play like that ever maybe the occasional spin of All About The Money that's it.

Once he started rapping about hustling drugs on the street I stopped listening

He's so original

It's his life what else can he rap about. His story is he's from Harlem/Queensbridge, he played ball collegiately in the DMV, dropped out of college, sold weed in Baltimore, got caught went to jail, came back home sold weed in NY then started rapping...
