What a difference facial hair and no glasses makes :skip:

Norm bender :skip:

I didn't realize Dave and Emma went back that far either. Good to see she is going to make moves in her career as well :ehh:. Especially in the flashbacks you can see she wasn't happy in the corporate world.

Co-Worker - I think your dad is in the conference room :gladbron:

Emma: What :dwillhuh:

Co-worker - It's Sony in there and they are all Asian :pachaha:

Emma: :unimpressed:

Dave needs to spend less time dikking around and get to writing rhymes and coming up with different flows
Wondering how Dave will redeem himself to his friends. Just escaping this writer’s block/mojo funk won’t fulfill me. I know it’s in his nature to be taking these Ls, he high-key deserves most of it, but I hope he doesn’t go out on a totally depressing note by season’s end. Wanna see the light shine through just a little bit for ol boy. :sadcam:

It’s wild how the show pretty much makes me want to root for all the other characters except Dave himself. I always figured Dave knew Emma thru Ally for some reason, I had no idea they were that close. He’s has really taken their friendship for granted even before he got famous.

This season is really Bojack Horseman-like when it comes to making me feel uncomfortable. I loved that show too.
That’s VERY accurate..

Every episode is laying seeds for Gata to break away from him and I have this sinking feeling Dave is going to go full “Joe Budden” on everybody :why:

These next few episodes i hope Dave gets SOME kind of win..

:wow:I ain’t know what was going on when I seen Lil Yatchy giving what looked like a PSA until I saw Desiigner :gladbron:

:pachaha:Him asking to take out the GgrrrrrrAAAA in the final edit was hilarious. Sht was annoying af in his freestyle and I always resented him for that lol “Brrrrlaaaat!! DO IT! DO IT!” Ok Cac:rudy:

That 2016 XXL reunion :banderas:

This man literally just retelling stories we already knew about him and it’s still so fukkin enter TAINING :damn:

I ain’t gon lie when I saw Ol boy on Omegle I was dead thinking the exact same thing Emma said:lolbron:

Thought it was going to spin to Emma’s freak out from earlier in the season but it looks like that’s still cooking up. Groundwork firmly set.

Swear to god tho Emma is a interesting enough character that she could carry her own show. Ep hit home for me cuz I’ve literally done the same thing as her for years and still downplay my aspirations :mjcry:

Ending was very reminiscent of the Season 1 finally but instead of the death of his old self & inner child it’s the birth of Norm Bender who's still here, still the same. Still not the rapper he wants to be. :mjcry:

And y’all trippin saying he’s getting no dubs :childplease: both seasons he and his crew have been steadily going up, living lavish in LA, traveling, and doing shows. He was on XXL this ep for top 10 of who’s up next. The whole show is his W’s but they showing the L’s too.

Not sure I’m ready for these last 3 eps tho. All these anxiety inducing sequences :damn::wow:

That episode was deep. Outside of Dave being Dave they didn't go overboard with the humor. Now we see why they're linked together, but it's crazy how GaTa has the mentality everyone else should have, but he's still behind everyone (but that's changing).
It seems like they're hinting that GaTa is the one who deserves everything that Dave has received so far in terms of props and opportunities. Dave is blowing it at every turn since last season, and GaTa's popularity is growing with fans and with the people in the circle.

Dave has been saying that he's another version of Kanye with his ideas and confidence, which could be true, but he's only proving he's a narcissistic assh0le along the way.

That demonic grin on Emma's face when Dave was bombing. :picard:
