Which is why I no longer watch that type of stuff. Couldn't even watch the George Floyd video. Because I feel like at a certain point, you become desensitized to stuff like that, and I don't ever want that to happen to me.
I feel you, and I dont watch these vids either, but i don't believe the desensitized thing

If we were to become desensitized it definitely would've happened by now and we wouldn't have the nation rioting

Looters take over peaceful protest causing violence, chaos in St. Louis

"He was murdered by looters at a pawnshop. He was the type of brother that would’ve given his life to save them if he had to. Violence is not the answer, whether it’s a citizen or officer," they wrote.

Dorn joined the police academy in November 1969 and graduated in May 1970. He was assigned to Patrol Support when he retired from the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department in October 2007.

Dorn would help out the owners of Lee's Pawn and Jewelry due to his extensive background in police work. When the business' alarm would go off, Dorn would check it out. And that's what he did early Tuesday morning before he was shot and killed.

Dorn's wife is a sergeant with the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department.

CrimeStoppers is offering a reward of up to $10,000 for any information leading to an arrest. You can call CrimeStoppers at 866-371-TIPS (8477).

I think the folks in this thread calling for death, specifically the death of another person of color during a scenario that had nothing to do with protesting are law enforcement agents.

I have to believe that to keep from believing that the person on the otherside of the keyboard is that intellectually stunted.

Trending number two right now, them “folks” already trying to turn his death into a division tactic
You can't blame "them" folks.

We have to have foresight. We are not helpless. Anyone with a clue could see how the unnecessary violence and crime away from the protests was going to be used against the cause.

Because the protest is reactionary and decentralized around the country it has allowed opportunists to use it for cover amidst the chaos.

What should have been happening is condemnation for those actions from the real activists broadly. I've seen it in some places. But it's fragmented. There has to be a broad call for distancing from the looters and anarchists because they will overshadow the cause and spin the narrative.

Foresight, foresight, foresight. See these things coming. Know how propaganda works. Don't give THEM ammo.

Just earlier in these uprisings it was brehs calling us scared of white people or Kumbaya c00ns on here. It was people on here disparaging Black people in the media calling for calm with the side activities. They were ridiculed. Now here we are.

They them or we? Who will write the narrative today and tomorrow. Be in control. Division tactics are only possible when there is a weak point to hinge them on such as the looting violence.

Also it's known now that covid-19 can be just as deadly to the young and fit as it is to the elderly
