You're blind and intentionally so.
Im assuming you're referring to this post
I don't think Zeke is as explosive and elusive as David nor the pass receiver.

Nothing Zeke does is outside of David's ability but Zeke is not a player you will line up at WR like David.

It's not a slight towards Zeke who is a great back.
I replied to your reasoning why you think he's better saying this
Zeke is by far a better blocker (best in the league at his position), finishes runs better (most yards after contact), and faster (bigger home run threat).
Look how teams play vs us. Zeke puts the fear of god in DCs :mjlol:

You still havent responded to this refuting any of my points. If you arent interested in debating this, stop quoting and move on

I also said that nothing Zeke does as a runner is outside of DJ's capabilities.

Your point about being a better blocker is moot considering David is involved in the passing game. why have him block when he's a part of the passing game? :dahell: Second, David led the league in yards after contact last season. Let's not act like Zeke is above and beyond what DJ proved before Zeke stepped foot in the league.

Have you seen Marshal Faulk's or Walter Payton's playoff stats?

Like seriously....this isn't the NBA where it's a playoff series. :mjlol:

Zeke can go out and have a bad game in the playoffs, but I wouldn't be the one using that one game to determine and tear down his value as a player as you are with David.
I said all three are same tier :yeshrug:

I think there's a gap after Johnson and Bell right now.

Blocking is apart of the game for a RB :dahell:

Sometimes the Rb will have to stay in and protect the QB.

Second, David led the league in yards after contact last season. Let's not act like Zeke is above and beyond what DJ proved before Zeke stepped foot in the league.

What does last year have to do with this year :dahell:

Zeke is outperforming DJ as a runner and blocker this year. His rookie campaign is probably the 2nd best all-time at the position.

I will admit I am somewhat biased (obviously), but your original statement made it seem as if it isnt close to being debatable:hubie:

Blocking is a part of the game when put in pass protection.

David isn't. He turns into a RECEIVER, no longer a RB.

You didn't deconstruct that point.

As a runner, Zeke has a better line.

didn't Zeke have a 83yard TD reception against the steelers to go along with 120yards rushing and 2 rush TDs ?:patrice:

He sure did.

How does citing one play change the fact that DJ is gameplanned to play receiver every week compared to Zeke?

I really don't get your point.

Fine, I guess I'll do this...

Ezekiel Elliot:
322 carries
1,631 yards
15 rushing TD
32 receptions
363 receiving yards
1 receiving TD
1,994 yards from scrimmage

David Johnson:
288 carries
1,233 yards
16 rushing TD
77 receptions
841 receiving yards
4 receiving TDs
2,074 yards from scrimmage

Both having great seasons.
On the one hand you've got a great power back who finishes his runs very well behind a great offensive line -- there is no debating this whatsoever.
On the other hand you've got a dual threat back who also finishes his runs very well who managed (so far) to lead the league in total yards from scrimmage.

This is like asking who was better: prime Edgerrin James or prime Marshall Faulk.
To me, the answer is clearly Marshall Faulk. Just like today it's David Johnson (or Le'Veon Bell).

:snoop:

RBs are sometimes required to pass protect. What good are you as a receiver if your QB gets killed. Im sure you are aware teams blitz and send more rushers than the OL can block.

I think you're putting way too much emphasis on DJ as a receiver.

And yes Zeke has a better line. But he Still has more yards after contact

I think hes the best back based off of works and attention he brings to defenses - and lets not act like the steelers dont play the browns, jaguars, jets where bell putting up mad numbers.

I really don't get your point.
