just think of all the millionaires that the nba has spawned....and the lives that have been touched because of it
just saying
This is some bullshyt logic.
I don't care how many millionaires he created, he helped people like Donald Sterling become BILLIONAIRES
Do you see what the problem is?
It doesn't matter who he makes a millionaire, so long as his ultimate agenda helps promote bigots to positions of power.
And the fact that you fall for David Stern's tactics means you've never heard an actual high-level lawyer speak.
David Stern
knows what he's done for african-americans. He knows how he's manipulated race narratives for his benefit. He knows if he'd really done as much for african-americans as guys like him say the do, Donald Trump probably wouldn't be in office.
And so, whenever someone comes at him, he already has in his mind every possible argument they could throw at him, and so many rebuttals to the point that you would never have enough airtime to get through them all. That's why David Stern, or Adam Silver, or whoever is the commissioner, and not some dude who grew up playing and coaching. It's always some guy who's super legalistic, that way they can twist the players into knots, and make them feel like they're getting a good deal when they're really getting fukked in the ass. And then once you do tell them, "Hey, I know you're just fukking me in the ass," they pull you aside, like a divorce lawyer, and whisper "Yeah, and there's nothing you can do about it."
fukk David Stern, if he makes a compelling argument, that's the whole point.
And if you want evidence that David Stern is a completely ruthless debater, here:
That's not him literally asking Rome if he still beats his wife, the point is, Rome is tangled. How do you respond? If he answers yes, then he still beats his wife, if he answers no, then it implies he's beaten his wife in the past but stopped. It's an old, classic, trick they teach in law school. Now do you think the kind of guy who speaks in real life that kind of way isn't a vile, conniving son of a bytch behind closed doors? That's exactly why he got hired in the first place. fukk 'em.
