Daycare costs alone discourage me from having children

Daycare is a nesccessary evil for most Americans where both the man and woman have to work.

I don't have any parents or anyone who doesn't work and can be with the kids 24-7. But I'm only 28 and kids aren't in my plans at all

Save the explainations for when your kids get older.

Not worth it in Western society unless your Mom's or Pops can take care of it while you at work for the first 5 years of life.

Most Indian families just throw maybe 100 a week at most to their mother/father for pampers, lunch and mid-day bingo. Their parents are like 65 retired so there is nothing else for them to do bit watch some kids anyway.

Meanwhile Black folk we kick our kids out at 18 and don't tend to our grandchildren. And wonder why we lost in Amerikkka.

Childcare industry doesn't exist in other countries it's just for wealthy families. Only in America cam you profit off the working poor.

Stop having children if you don't make enough to comfortably afford a nanny.

Government assistance. I used to work for human services. 5 kids having hoe, on medicaid, ccap, food stamps, child support, welfare etc. All day everyday.

People have to realize having kids isn't a recreational thing. Children put a heavy dent on your finances and if you are not finacially ready to have kids don't have them. I want to have kids until I'm finacially ready. Having children is a wonderful thing but your paper has to be stacked right.

Not just so called poor people. There are families where folks are making 60k but because they have like 6 to 8 kids they get assistance. You see that a lot here in texas with mexicans

Dirty little secret also is you got some of these indians and asians on assistance too because maybe the husband has a decent job but the wife doesn't (or she is in school). But they got 6 or 7 kids and need to put them in daycare.

But I don't even trip on these families cause yeah they getting money from the government. But the organizations and not for profits who give them help are also pimping the system. It is big time money with child care.

A lot of folks dont....not even married people. We live in a self indulge culture. We can't get people to be conservative when buying houses, clothes and cars. So why should we think they gonna practice cost benefits analysis when it comes to kids.
