While this is true, shipping broken, buggy games and not having many demos anymore are partially to blame. Expecting people en masse to kick out 60 dollars blind is asking a lot, especially on a new IP. Add to that games aren't refundable.

Unless it's a sequel to something I already like, or I got to try it, I'm more or less done buying games Day 1. Too much buggy, unfinished shyt out these days. Look at Avengers, or Cyberpunk. And those are high budget, AAA games. Again, if games were refundable, it would be different, but damn all that.
