DayZ...(Anybody play this?)

you log in wherever you log off. so if you and your group log off in the same location, you'll log back on in the same location
when you die, you spawn at a random spot on the shore
the key to grouping is knowing where you are. an online map helps. it can be a pain, but it gets easier when you know the map better
eventually you can establish some kind of 'camp' for your group, then try to log on and off there. you can also have tents with equipment there. that's what we need to work on

i put in work this morning, got night vision goggles, gps, aks 74u and g17. Im afraid to die brehs 
was down to 2k blood and i killed 2 cows and cooked the meat

damn, where did you find the night vision goggles? I know they only spawn in the barracks (NW airfield) and helicopter crashes. that's the one thing I haven't found yet

come on breh i've never played pc games. im willing to start with this one and play wit ya 
someone link me to where i can get this shyt and how i can check if my laptop strong enough. how fast of a connection u need to play? i dunno shyt when it comes to pc gaming 
i'm not even playing cus my comp can't handle it. i just watch HD Dayz vids on youtube. i wish it could be ported to a console but the game is massive

it's pretty intensive on cpu and gpu. it loads the map different from other 'big' games (Skyrim, GTA4, Just Cause 2, etc). a couple of weeks ago I got teleported by a hacker. I was up north in the woods somewhere, and then all of a sudden me and everyone else on the server were in the middle of Cherno. I aborted and got the fukk outta there. the crazy thing was it was instant. I was in the woods, and than instantly I was on the other side of the map. any of those other games would have required a loading screen to do that
it's the only place you're gonna find a silenced rifle

I don't think it's nearly as dangerous as Cherno and Elektro. I think the military tents at Stary Sobor are the most dangerous spot on the map
