we gotta dayz clone coming to ps3 and xbox

just one large area based on colorado. sounds like they're going to throw away a lot of the tedious aspects of dayz

it's pretty intensive on cpu and gpu. it loads the map different from other 'big' games (Skyrim, GTA4, Just Cause 2, etc). a couple of weeks ago I got teleported by a hacker. I was up north in the woods somewhere, and then all of a sudden me and everyone else on the server were in the middle of Cherno. I aborted and got the fukk outta there. the crazy thing was it was instant. I was in the woods, and than instantly I was on the other side of the map. any of those other games would have required a loading screen to do that

happened to me twice..once it teleported me from the top of a mountain, so i fell down to my death. but yea i might need some help getting that rifle...i get an extra night vision set for you.


yo on a sidenote, we need to find a pretty empty server so we can stash some of the extra shyt we find in a tent or something.

I found someone's tent by there on a server like a week ago with some good stuff in it. I took a DMR and m16 acog and wrote down the location. I just went back lastnight, and all the same stuff was in the tent that was in there before I looted it last time. I guess it's probably has that 'duping' bug where it's loot get's reset every time the server restarts (usually at least once a day). so basically it's an unlimited supply of loot until they fix the duping issues. I found some other tents on the same server, but they didn't have too much good stuff

you're probably gonna need an online map

DayZ Map - DayZDB

most of the towns have street signs on the main roads that say the town's name. unfortunately that name uses the russian alphabet, and the ingame map is in 'english', so that's another reason the online map is useful

Just added yall on steam (I'm Abraham Lincoln, its my old Counter-strike name ). I'm heading out to a party/watch UFC though so wont be on til tomorrow. I didn't realize how much of a steam OG I was...8 years in the game still lookin' 17

damn, lastnight was epic. we came up on tents, carjacked some dude, found a atv, and pretty much all the good loot in the game (nvg's, gps, ghillie suits, that gun with the thermal sight, etc)

the best part was when I was shooting the dude in his whip he said something over direct chat like "hey, that's not cool"

I got a pretty good character going right now.. I was just trying to get to a point where I could make it to the airfield so we could meet up, I'm heading in that direction tho, got an AK, sidearm some food and water. Been playing on servers with like 3 people in it so I can try to get geared up then move onto a populated server to at people.


I had a Day-z dream last night, it had me shook as fukk
