Rockstar is way too thorough to have used not just one but 2 songs an artist had rights to without permission.
Either his label signed off on it or someone who owns the rights did. He's just trying to make a cash grab now, but rockstar's money is too long for him to go anywhere with this in court

The album Kuruption where the song C-walk comes from was under the Antra imprint which was a vanity label for A/M records which eventually was swallowed by Universal. Id be surprised if Daz owns the masters to Kuruption. Rockstar seemed like they just wanted to give him Something, he rejected the deal and they went over his head and cut him out.
