Jacaveli The Don

A lot of people in this thread questioning why Daz never produced a beat like on Chronic or Doggystyle without ever listening a Dogg Pound, Daz or Kurupt album

Daz's beats are more musical and have groovier basslines compared to Dre's shyt. More Jazz influenced. U could tell a Daz beat ESPECIALLY from that time frame that way. He was also versatile cause he could make some hard shyt like Ambitions as a Ridah.
Exactly. Daz flipped and bodied this shyt. Lol

He took the drums and flipped it into somethin hard. Changed the whole vibe of the sample. Same way Havoc did with White Lines on Quiet Storm. It's basically the whole sample. But he made it into a whole other beast. Changed the whole vibe. That's the beauty of sampling in Hip Hop. But this is The Coli where nikkas is either too hard to impress or too easy. U posting that sample doesnt hurt Daz's case whatsoever.meh. he didn't body anything.
its practically the same beat.
but hey, dr dre built like most of his legacy off of str8 samples, so I'm not knockin daz. but I'm saying.

Kept the same vibe of the samples n all that.
the drums were already hard.
he modified it so that it would sound '96 instead of '86, but that's about it.
havoc did way more to the white lines beat breh. that's a bad comparison. what daz did with the pee-wee beat is more in line with dr dre actually.
cant say daz killed it. whoever did the pee-wee beat is the one that killed it. does anybody even know who produced it? this is a travesty.
All Havoc did was slow the fukkin Bass line down for White Lines and add some synths. Beefed up the drums a lil bit. How did he do way more? I'm a producer bruh. If anything they did equal amount of work. Quiet Storm ain't one of Hav joints where he literally flips and filters a sample to the point it's unrecognizable. Some sampled beats don't have to be the most difficult to pull off. Just be creative and sound dope. Like I said. What Daz added to the sample made the whole vibe of the shyt sound different. Hav did the same with White Lines. Also it still doesn't change the fact of Daz's beats being more groovy and Jazz influenced. I really don't know what the point of u posting the sample for Ambition Az a Ridah was for. Are u tryna say Daz ain't dope or he ain't versatile or something?meh. he didn't body anything.

Thank you!!!producer doesnt mean beatmaker, Im just saying for that dude trying to give out false info
everything else is 100
production is literally, sequencing etc ... anything that helps produce a real song
"Skandalouz" would probably be more accurate. That has Quik written all over it.
Where did Dre try to take credit for these?I give Dre credit for G funk. I mean the rap version. G Funk primarily is classic R&B remixed. Above the Law was wack. They may have given him an idea and he ran with it, but their beats and rap were trash for the most part.
Dre just tried to get slick and take credit for everything after the first Chronic album. Dre essentially did like one or two songs on All Eyez on Me. NONE on Makaveli and these are both classics.
It's a shame though how ignorant nikkas can't be together. Imagine if Dre, Quik, Sam Sneed, and Daz made beats together? Nobody could've touched Death Row. But Suge Knight is the most ignorant bytch on the planet. Imagine is fagot ass p*ssy Puffy didn't set 2PAC up. Bad Boy would have been non existent.
He tried to take credit for All Eyez on Me. But not Makaveli because he was at aftermath at that point. My point is, those tracks on both albums were just as good as Dre's. A lot of people are saying Death Row flopped because Dre left, but that is not true. It was because Suge Knight was an idiot. The production team was like no other record label.Where did Dre try to take credit for these?
Show the AEOM credits then.He tried to take credit for All Eyez on Me. But not Makaveli because he was at aftermath at that point. My point is, those tracks on both albums were just as good as Dre's.
