look at how hard cali nikkas will go to try & get ny's acknowledgement. it's been happening since the 80's. why single us out, what point are they trying to prove? i love kendrick's verse, & it's a great thing for hip hop but it got alot of nikkas feeling themselves, living vicariously through the nikka

& our city doesn't love itself? our self love is precisely what fueled the hate from other regions, the fact that we never used to acknowledge what music they made. it came back to bite us in the ass, but then again who are you to say what beat a rapper should spit over? hip hop samples music from all genres, & i'm all about growth. stop putting rappers in a box
Don't nobody give a fukk about NY. This ain't the mid 90's

Because you nikkas are easily the weakest link in Hip-Hop. FACT. And your only rebuttal to this will be to try an drum-up an argument talking about the old glory days of NY. The fact that y'all main rappers are out hear making records trying to copy Atlanta's sound should be alarming enough for you.

Just how I figured you'd respond. :comeon: Name the last time NY has influenced Hip-Hop? I can name many times other cities has influenced NY.

So being a part of a city that was almost singlehandedly responsible for the rintone rap era, D4L, Shawty Lo, Gucci, Dem Franchise Boyz, Soulja Boy, Scooter, 2 Chainz, Roscoe Dash :heh: Young LA :bryan: and the uncountable carbon copies making shytty repetitive trap shyt makes you nikkas NOT a weak link? You nikkas are almost solely the reason nikkas started saying Hip Hop was dead :laff: I won't front like you nikkas ain't got your good or worthwhile music (T.I., Jeezy, Luda etc.) because I'm not a message board gladiator like you who's just gonna hate on a nikka city because I'm miles behind in style, lyrical ability and infastructure compared to NY..

.The shyt you talking has nothing to do with being a weak link. You nikkas introduced SIMPLE, CATCHY music to the mainstream, it caught on for that fact and that fact only, kids gravitated towards it, strip clubs gravitated towards it. And low-level goon type nikkas who cant tell a brick from a bike did the same. The industrty had no choice but to try to keep up when you nikkas changed the rules to shyt and started getting a slice of the pie. Let's not act like you nikkas are musically inclined lmao. The fact I'm even debating this with you is making me laugh. At myself lmao. You act like nikkas out here from NY putting out full albums of ass shakin music or somethin. For the most part, it's singles because that's what the climate says is selling. With this whole Kendrick shyt poppin off though, you nikkas bout to put your foot in your mouth :umad:

Last time NY influenced Hip-Hop? Let's see, how about MCHG and the groundbreaking Samsung deal that got them crackers acknowledging that boy Hov in a new light. Who the fukk from ATL is PUSHING THE ENVELOPE (not just rapping, but ADVANCING THE CULTURE) not only for US, but for the WORLD to see how great we can become? fukk outta here, fakkit ass hay chewing hillbilly :bryan:

And since you wanna talk about the last time NY influenced Hip-Hop (my bad, I didn't notice you were only referring to nikkas trying to put out "hot" singles), do me one better and tell me ANY time an ATL nikka did for the culture anything close to groundbreaking. And I don't mean just on a record either. I mean for THE CULTURE. Since you used the words "Hip-Hop". bytch nikka if you even having this argument, you have no place even using the term at all. You nikkas just RHYME.

if nobody gave a fukk about NY, Kendrick wouldn't have said that line, Daz wouldn't have sent out that tweet, nor would NY's dikk be in all these poster's mouths right now, including yours. Scorned bytch

And the thing is, he said that line in reference to being the next BIG. Cats listening comprehension are pure ass nowadays too.

I don't know why this nikka is bringing up this old shyt. When they did that video their trailer got shot up because some nyc nikkas felt disrespected. When deathrow went to nyc they had to bring hella bodyguards for protection. East coast rappers had to do the same when they went to the west. This old nikka haven't learned shyt.
Btw I'm glad kdot did this and he's a beast, but chill with this east coast west coast bullshyt.
