Something is not adding up in this case that the lawyer and the squatter both speak on. This original air bnb purchase was in March, it's now December. The lawyer says there is ambiguity about what went down between those months. The squatter says that the homeowner started harassing her in October. That's when she signed the "I will leave" document, which the lawyer confirmed.

So what was the homeowner doing all this time before then? Can someone point me to the right vid that answers this?

The home owner had been trying to get her out since the spring, but this demon is a professional scammer. There's a three part interview on that YouTube channel with the squatter. She just spews word salad, and magically can't find texts she claimed she had when she's pressed on it. This entire squatting stuff has gotten out of control beyond belief.

Yeah, I heard that. I'm trying to understand what the word "trying" actually means here. What actions were taken? I'm asking in good faith.

no one thinks your landlord should be able to throw you out if you're a day late on rent
Let's be real, landlords absolutely do think they should be able to.

There's a reason why these laws exist in the first place. They didn't come out of nowhere. They were a response to the actions of greedy landlords.

That being said, there needs to be some nuance. Squatting should not be allowed.
