That doesn’t mean they won’t get him on the gun charge. Prosecution wants a conviction by any means necessary. This is why they pile on charges, so something sticks. They want bodies in prison, mostly black ones. If all these kids did was ring the bell, and run away, they will be viewed as normal kids, because they are white. Black men aren’t given the benefit of the doubt that he was afraid, and was protecting his home.
