We'll see...

The gl animated movie had both Hal Jordan and Jonathan Stewart, and we getting a show with both
Well they didn’t mention Legion of Superheroes appearing in this phase and the writer Tom King is apparently part of Gunn’s writer group.

I don’t think they are doing one-to-one adaptations but Woman of Tomorrow is a fairly standard Mandalorian type story of getting from point A to B with human cargo. I doubt they will add in bunch of extraneous characters to an unproven Supergirl movie.

Same company that added justice society to a black Adam movie

Gunn’s Guardians, Suicide Squad, and Peacemaker made sure to stand on their own even when apart of a larger story.

He’s running things. He’s been pretty straight forward with announcements to fans and managing expectations. The evidence doesn’t support using the decisions of a movie written three years ago.

Has anyone here read the comic?

I have.

It's great, and it very much fits what the "stand-alone" mold they're trying to do. Supergirl (and Krypto) is the only mainline DC character in the book.

Some of the dialogue is a little off, but maybe it'll sound better in a film than it read in text.

Hmm . . . I'm actually a Superman hater but I'm open to a fresh take. lol
I like the Alan Moore reference to, never really was interested in Swamp Thing either but this makes me interested as well.
The movie slate I actually think is real dope/interesting they all seem like they can be good. Mixed feelings about TV (like Lanterns and Waller, Wonder Woman show without Wonder Women and the monster team not so much.).
